The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it truly is alarmed concerning the superior range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the sassa substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office committed to service the area every day. The company level established for intervention activities a sassa status higher inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to permit the servicing of all buyers and increase usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
